Tytan IS11 Insulation Board Glue is a high-quality cement-based adhesive specifically developed for bonding white and graphite EPS (expanded polystyrene) boards used in External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS). Designed for use on both newly constructed buildings and those undergoing thermal renovation, it provides excellent adhesion, flexibility, and resistance to adverse weather conditions.

This product is ideal for fixing insulation boards to typical mineral substrates, including cement and cement-lime plasters, concrete, raw brick, and ceramic block surfaces. Applications

Tytan IS11 is primarily used for bonding EPS insulation boards in ETICS thermal insulation systems. It is suitable for application on:

• Cement, cement-lime plasters
• Concrete surfaces
• Raw ceramic bricks and hollow blocks

This adhesive is a preferred choice among façade contractors, insulation specialists, and professional builders due to its performance, reliability, and ease of use.

Instructions for Use

1. Surface preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, stable, and free from dust, oil, or loose materials.
2. Mixing: Pour 5.0–5.5 liters of clean water into a mixing container and slowly add 25 kg of dry adhesive. Mix until smooth. Let sit for 5 minutes, then remix.
3. Application: Use the “spot-dab” method (perimeter and central spots) or apply a continuous layer with a notched trowel, depending on the flatness of the surface.
4. Mounting boards: Press EPS boards firmly into place and adjust as necessary within the open time.
5. Working temperature: Use between +5°C and +25°C.
6. Curing time: 1 to 3 days depending on conditions.
7. Consumption: Approx. 3.5–4.5 kg/m².
8. Mesh-reinforced layer: When applying mesh, maintain a thickness of 3–5 mm.
