Product Application

Lakma Fixgrunt U is suitable for priming absorbent substrates, including aerated concrete, lime and cement mortars, concrete, and plasterboard. It is recommended for use before painting, wallpapering, applying gypsum finishing coats or installing other compatible finishing materials. An excellent choice for contractors, decorators and renovation professionals working on both new-build and refurbishment projects.

Instructions for Use

1. Prepare the Surface – Ensure the substrate is clean, dry and free from dust, grease and loose material.

2. Prepare the Primer – Stir the product thoroughly and follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding application and dilution.

3. Apply Evenly – Use a paintbrush, roller or suitable spraying equipment to cover the substrate uniformly.

4. Allow to Dry – Leave the primer to dry for approximately 15 minutes to 2 hours, depending on substrate conditions and environmental factors.

5. Apply Additional Coats if Needed – Apply 1–2 coats as required by the substrate’s absorbency and the manufacturer’s recommendations.

6. Proceed with Finishing – Once fully dry, continue with a compatible paint, finishing coat, adhesive or wallpaper system.
