Achieve a true industrial aesthetic with Francesco Guardi Rust Effect Paint Component A – 0.5L, the essential first stage of the Guardi two-component rust effect system. Specially formulated with high-quality acrylic resin and genuine metallic pigments, this base coat lays the groundwork for the full rust transformation by mimicking the look and structure of raw, untreated metal.
Component A not only adds body and metallic texture to the surface—it also prepares it for the reactive finish delivered by Component B, which together create the full oxidation effect. Ideal for feature walls, commercial interiors, and artistic installations, this system allows professionals to replicate the complex tones and textures of naturally aged steel or iron.

Stir well before use.
Apply using a twine roller or sponge with large pores, using stamping or dabbing motions.
Use 1 to 2 layers, depending on the desired base texture and intensity.
Let dry for at least 2 hours before applying Component B.
3. Proceed with Component B:
Once dry, follow with Component B using rubbing or stamping technique to complete the oxidation process and develop rust patina.
4. Clean-Up & Storage:
Clean tools with water immediately after use.
Store tightly sealed in temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.
Avoid direct sunlight during application and drying.
✅ Latex Primer Paint – for strong adhesion and visual contrast
✅ Component A – metallic base layer with texture and shine
✅ Component B – activating topcoat that produces the rust effect
Start your surface transformation with Guardi Rust Effect Paint Component A – the professional base coat that builds the foundation for truly authentic rust finishes.
For best results, always use Component A together with Component B. and the recommended primer. Latex primer should be used as a base coat.
⚠️ Note: The rust effect system is inseparable – using Component A without Component B will result in an incomplete and ineffective finish.
