Instructions for Use
Substrate Preparation
Ensure the substrate is dry, clean, solid, and level.
Prime with GUARDI latex primer (interior) or GUARDI exterior priming agent.
For cement plasters: wait approx. 4 weeks after application before priming.
For gypsum substrates: wait 2 weeks.
On previously painted surfaces or drywall, use Akryl G primer once or twice as needed.
Remove wallpaper and adhesive thoroughly if present.
Disinfect any mould or fungi before proceeding.
Application
Use an INOX Venetian trowel to apply the first coat evenly on the primed surface.
Let dry for at least 6 hours, then apply the second coat in varied directions.
Allow second coat to dry for another 6 hours, then apply a thin third coat, smoothing until the surface is level.
After 10 minutes of drying, polish with the clean edge of the trowel to achieve a shiny finish.
For additional depth and protection, apply Francesco GUARDI Wax after 7 days. Distribute with the trowel, then polish using flannel or a polisher.
Additional Notes
Apply in temperatures between +5°C to +25°C
Avoid direct sunlight or rain exposure during and shortly after application
Protect exterior applications from moisture for 2–3 days post-application
Do not apply on pressed cement substrates
Always test wax on a small area before full application
